This concept board has all the essential items for a successful Midcentury-Industrial look. A harmonious combination of both raw industrial influenced materials, and Midcentury shapes and patterns. The perfect ensemble of items for an outstanding Midcentury-Industrial look. The mix of black, white, tan and navy blue is a delightful colour scheme that creates a beautiful and restful ambiance. The Products: For this living room, I selected the amazing Renfrew leather sofa from Urban Barn, in the Adler tan colour. There's something very classy and inviting about a good quality tan leather sofa, isn't there? To pair along with this settee is this black accent chair from Wayfair, crafted in top grain vintage leather. Rest your feet on this fun-shaped Snoozer ottoman (it has storage!) in the colour charcoal-Indigo from Crate and Barrel. The arrangement of throw pillows strongly reflects the colour scheme and overall theme of the room. A solid blue and a solid black pillow, as well as a retro black and white throw pillow from CB2. I also picked a faux-fur and Icelandic sheepskin pillows to add texture and coziness to the room. They go quite nicely with the ivory area rug, which has a generous 1.6" pile height. EQ3 came up with this Sage round coffee table in black oak finish, and it's a real show-stopper. The sleek and modern design of this table fits perfectly in our midcentury industrial look. Accompanied by this piece of furniture is the Edward side table in Hudson oak finish, from Urban Barn. The pendant from Wayfair is quite the statement light fixture, with its metallic base and 7 glass globes. I wanted the pendant light to have a shiny finish, as it reminds me of the 1950's1950s. The wall art selection is inspired by an animal theme. I (almost) always add an item representing an animal in my designs. I just love it. It adds movement to the room, but honestly, I mostly just love animals! I also included a framed picture with blue triangles graphics to keep company with the bear and the buffalo. Display some interesting and trendy decoration items onto this beautiful navy blue bookcase from Crate and Barrel, and voila! You have yourself a gorgeous, well-designed midcentury industrial look! I ensured to include some alternative product options, in the event of any product being unavailable or out of stock (a reality that comes with online shopping at times)! All alternative options are also available to purchase directly through these links. Happy shopping!

This concept board has a great ensemble of items that creates a very satisfying Midcentury Modern look. A harmonious combination of both vintage and modern shapes and patterns. The mix of black, white, wood and yellows is a delightful colour scheme that produces a vibrant, lively ambiance for this living room. The Products: I selected this black armless sofa from Crate and Barrel, as it has a great vintage, yet modern look to it. It is made of top-grain leather and will provide comfort and style for years to come. I have also picked a classic slipper chair in cream, with an elegant ash frame. With its prominent midcentury look, this chair will never go out of style. Along with this pair of seating options are some beautiful throw pillows. One solid vibrant yellow pillow (I love a touch of yellow for a midcentury look) from Tonic Living, another with a classic midcentury pattern design, and lastly, a creamy, textured, hand-dyed cotton pillow cover from Crate and Barrel. The round leather ottoman-pouf from CB2 is not only very stylish but also has double functionality. You can use it as a footrest or as occasional seating. Its high-quality leather is designed to wear and soften nicely over time. Now, let's talk about this area rug, shall we? Ruggable is a company that creates easily washable rugs. I find this to be pretty convenient myself. This rug makes no exception to the rule. Not only its aesthetically is pleasing, but it also has what the company calls the Cling Effect™ technology, which allows you to detach the rug cover from the pad and throw it in the washing machine. Another wonderful discovery is the coffee table, from Lumens. Made in Serbia, this oak table has an oval shape and diagonally-angled wooden legs that I found to be stunning. There are two sources of lighting on this board. One is the typically midcentury arched floor lamp from Wayfair, in black. The other is a pair of two big pendant lights, which are à la fois soft and modern. I have curated all the wall art for this concept board from Society6. The dancers and surfers are truly in their element here and add movement and fluidity to the room. The lady with the vibrant orange flower frame adds a bit of "pep" and brings a touch of grace to this living room. Make sure to display your favourite decoration items onto this beautiful, modern, solid wood bookcase from West Elm, and voila! You now have yourself a superb, inviting Midcentury Modern living room!
